An idea took form...

In the midst of our country's division and turmoil, three long-time Adlerians were discussing their concerns about the diminished social interest in our communities.

The newspapers were rife with reports of the turmoil and unrest, but no one was stepping forward to work together to create solutions. As their conversation gained momentum, an idea came into focus to solve these problems by establishing a group who would espouse Adler's ideas and concepts and disseminate them to all who were interested in transforming their community. By honoring Adler's passion for equality, social justice, and mutual respect, people could come together to build better relationships and begin to solve our social problems.

They called others who they knew to be staunch supporters of Adler, explained their idea, and soon had a group of eight who were on fire to see this concept move forward. The appellation that soon came forth encapsulates Adler's thoughts: Adler Community in Action.

With this very brief introduction, we are inviting you to come join us as we work to build better communities. By learning Adler's approach to accomplishing this and sharing it with others in relationships, everyone can feel significant, physically and emotionally safe, and have a sense of true belonging. We will work cooperatively to solve problems and encourage movement toward a cohesive and vibrant society.
